Teaching Resources

As an emerging field, finding Health Psychology educational resources is key to the success of the field and its practitioners. Health Psychology courses are growing in popularity at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The resources on this page are designed for students interested in education and training in Health Psychology (e.g. Clinical Heath Psychology Programs) and instructors teaching health psychology and related courses focusing on biopsychosocial connections.

The establishment of a comprehensive database program began in the Fall of 2008. This portion of the site provides resources to help obtain and provide training in Health Psychology.

  • Faces of Health Psychology: At a recent panel discussion at the 2010 APA annual convention in San Diego, members of the Education and Training committee answered questions about training in the field. Slides from the presentation highlight each member’s education background and current research and activities, nicely demonstrating the variety of tracks one can take to be a Health Psychologist.
