Health Research Council

Welcome to the Health Research Council webpage! The Health Research Council encourages research to generate knowledge in health psychology, and promotes high standards of ethical conduct in health psychology research.

The Health Research Council encourages research by:

• Acquiring and publicizing relevant research funding for the discipline
• Recommending eminent researchers for expert panels when requested
• Administering a program of student research awards
• Publicizing new or surging areas of research in health psychology

The Health Research Council is comprised of the Health Research Council Chair and members, including but not limited to the Ethics monitor for research-related issues, and the Liaison to the APA Board of Scientific Affairs.
